Stormwater

Welcome to the Town of Palmer Lake Stormwater Page!  Palmer Lake like many other cities and towns throughout Colorado is regulated by the Colorado Department of Health and the Environment.  The Water Quality Control Division regulates stormwater discharges from cities and towns through a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit.

Earlier in 2021, the Town of Palmer Lake implemented its new MS4 program.  This page provides an overview of the Town’s new program.  Please see the Program Description Document for details on how the Town is complying with the MS4 permit.

This page provides some simple steps anyone can do to help reduce stormwater pollution.  Please select one of the topic links below for additional information on what you can do help.

Remember, “please keep it clean because we all live downstream!”

You may view and download documents submitted by the Town and received by the Water Quality Control Division at the following link:  https://cdphe.colorado.gov/water-quality-records-center-and-requests

  • After clicking on the “Search Environmental Records Online” link at the top of the page, perform a “CDPHERM WTR Clean Water Search”
