You may see new faces working town operations, and we will feature new hires following their start dates.

In the fall of 2023, Stacy DeLozier joined the Public Works Department. He is an equipment operator focused on roads maintenance and has been instrumental with mechanical assistance to the department. We are grateful to have Stacy working with the Town.

Also in the fall of 2023, Derrick Forn was brought on the Fire Department. He is a full-time firefighter, and we are pleased that he has joined the team.

At the end of 2023, Andrew Rudnicki transitioned to the Water Department. He was formerly part time in parks maintenance. Andrew will start a water apprenticeship program with the Town Water Department this spring. We are grateful to have Andrew settle into a regular position with the Town.

This week, Blake (Buzz) Bloom joined the Public Works Department as an equipment operator and will also assist with town property maintenance. We look forward to having Buzz onboard and getting familiar with all things Public Works.

Please be patient with town staff as new hires adapt to various operations. We hope that you welcome them as they serve the Palmer Lake community!
