Calling the Police Department for Non-Emergency

In the case of an emergency, always call 911. In the case of a non-emergency, there seems to be some frustration getting a hold of the PD directly. Because mobile service is unreliable and often a police officer is not immediately available, the PD phone is forwarded to El Paso County dispatch, and dispatch will contact Palmer Lake PD. The County will not respond to your call in person. Therefore, in a non-emergency situation for which you want to contact Palmer Lake PD, please stay on the line to reach dispatch to make your request or leave your message. Dispatch will radio a Palmer Lake officer on duty with the message. If it is an emergency, please dial 911.
