New Trail & Bridge work - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

FIRST FOOT TRAIL BRIDGE BUILT IN OVER 100 years according to our Museum history. COME BE A PART OF IT!!

WHEN: THIS Saturday the 29th 8 am to 12 pm

Where: Creekside Trail at New Trail on Monument Creek from Lovers Lane crossing Monument Creek to Praire.

Parking: Bottom of Walnut and Greeley near the Greely bridge.  Yes gotta walk 1000 feet west to the site.

WHAT:  Finish HUGE boulder mono walls each creek bank to carry foot and bike Log bridge.  Clear trail of growing grass, bushes and debris from Creek to Praire.

Bring if you can: a shovel for preparing a mono wall to receive the new logs for the foot and bike bridges.  5’ Rock bar if you have one. Call Gene, 720-475-6894

  • Bring: Hat, gloves, sunscreen snack and water.
  • Long Sleeves, long pants, boots.
  • I will have a 5-gallon thermos for water and appreciated reusable bottles donated by our Mayor Glant Havenar.
