Update on the Elephant Rock Property

If you have not found it, there is a page on the town website – at top ribbon, Community > About Palmer Lake; then at left, Elephant Rock Property – that lists the activity the Board of Trustees has directed for the property (link below).

At the 4/13 Board meeting, the Board authorized the Parks Commission by resolution to begin a trail from Kent Street to connect to the elephant rock property with certain conditions. A resolution was also approved to initiate a workgroup comprised of public members suggested to represent neighbors and tenants to the property, PLEDG, Arts Council, Parks Commission to draft a Master Plan for the remaining property with certain conditions.

Also on this page, a concept development may be submitted for review by the Board. At this time, only concepts will be considered as the master plan is drafted.
