Stage II Burn Ban Reduced to Stage I

11/02/2020  On Monday, 11/2 at noon, El Paso County, Colorado, drops from Stage II burn restrictions to Stage I restrictions and will remain in place until the conditions and resourcing warrant the change. Pursuant to Ordinance 15-2018, the Town shall be in Permanent Town Fire Regulations (note Ordinance 2018-15).

08/26/2020  Pursuant to an order by El Paso County Sheriff Bill Elder declaring a Stage II Burn Ban in Unincorporated El Paso County and in accordance with Town of Palmer Lake Ordinance 2018-15, a Stage II Burn Ban now exists in the Town of Palmer Lake until further notice (see Ordinance 2018-15).
