Boards, Commissions, and Committees

The Town of Palmer Lake is a statutory town governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Additionally, the Town has three authorized bodies, of which the Board of Trustees appoint members to.

Planning Commission, comprised of seven members, authorized to oversee the Town’s Master/Comp Plan as well as various zoning and land use items and approve sign permit applications;

Board of Adjustments, comprised of five members with two alternates, a statutory quasi-judicial Board to hear and determine real property variance requests from zoning code;

Parks Commission, comprised of five members, to recommend development and maintain Town parks.
