Police Department

The Palmer Lake Police Department currently has five full time police officers.  The department is also supported by part-time and reserve officers and provides the Town of Palmer Lake coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Officers are available for extra duty where private events require PLPD assistance - please contact PD directly.

To contact the Palmer Lake Police Department: 

  • IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, CALL 911!
  • For enforcement calls, issues or concerns, please call El Paso County Dispatch at 719-390-5555. EPC Dispatch will assign the call to a PLPD on duty officer. If you receive a message, please stay on the line through the recorded message and an agent will pick up.
  • For other non-emergency information, contact the Police Department at 719-481-2934 or email Lt Lundy at alundy@palmer-lake.org.

The Town of Palmer Lake Police Department is active in District #38 school district safety programs.
