SERVICE DAY & CREEK WEEK 2021

The Palmer Lake Parks Commission conducted its semi-annual Volunteer Day in conjunction with Creek Week, since it fell on the same day.  We enlisted the help of Palmer Lake residents as well as Boy Scout Troop 17, Saint Peter Church of Monument, which allowed the boys to earn community hours. We had a total of 28 volunteers, who worked from 9am-12pm, and cleared dead brush and trees from around Palmer Lake, cleared noxious weeds, and repaired trails along the creek in Glen Park. Another successful service day!
