GLEN RESIDENTS -- SHARE YOUR VISION FOR PALMER LAKE

This is the final neighborhood meeting seeking input for the Town Master Plan. TOPICS ARE LIMITED TO INFRASTRUCTURE, TRAFFIC & PUBLIC SAFETY. No other topics will be discussed. The Master Plan Committee is planning for the future of Palmer Lake. It’s time to meet with residents of the Glen. By state law we must have citizen input to update the town’s master plan. We will be asking questions about the vision citizens want for the Glen area about infrastructure, traffic, and public safety. We will NOT DISCUSS TRAILHEAD PARKING or any issues related to that; other topics not to be included include dogs on trails, open or closing of trails, because these issues are not within the purview of the Planning Commission. If you live in the Glen -- (streets south of Old Carriage Road, not including the town homes on Vale, not including property east along 105 toward Monument, not including the old town of Palmer Lake, not including Oakdale or north Palmer Lake along 105) then you are welcome to attend. In general the moderated conversation will last on average 1.5 hours.

This is a virtual meeting by Zoom only.

Questions? Please email: plcompplan@gmail.com. The Master Plan is under the direction and ownership of the Planning Commission, not the Town Council, and is the guiding document the Planning Commission will use in making decisions within their purview going forward. Be a part of including your voice in this important process. Following the neighborhood meetings the Master Plan committee will conduct a quantitative survey to quantify the issues, ideas, and opinions of our citizens. This will result in a data set that will be used by an Advisory Committee who will add other demographic and similar types of data to write the final plan. This is always a long but very detailed and thorough process -- a process specifically outlined by The State of Colorado. If you want to participate in the survey and have your voice counted, be SURE to sign up for the town newsletter on our website at www.townofpalmerlake.com -- click on the Subscribe button near the top RH corner of the home page.
