Dennis Stern

Elected: 2022 for a four-year term

Dennis was initially a resident from 2006 to 2011 and then purchased property on Hermosa Ave in September of 2019, built a home and returned in April of 2020. His past involvement was serving the Planning Commission in 2008-2009, and he was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Board of Trustees until he married and moved out of town in 2011.

Dennis enjoys downhill skiing, golf, kayaking, and hiking. Dennis is happily married to his wife, best friend, and beloved companion, Laura McGuire. Together, they enjoy traveling and experiencing new adventures. Dennis and Laura have a blended family of six children total and eight grandchildren. They enjoy whatever time can be spent with all of them.

Dennis is a general contractor and owns his business, Summit Builders Inc (SBI). SBI does both new and remodel custom residential construction, as well as new and remodel commercial projects.
