PD Awareness Patch

The Palmer Lake Police Department (PLPD) is generating funds to support the Honor Guard Unit with variations of the standard shoulder patch for sale to the public.  These sales will fund the uniforms and equipment the PLPD Honor Guard Unit use in their duties, including uniforms, parade flags, dress rifles, shotguns, badges, etc.  The patches are designed with close attention to the trends in the community as well as the patch collecting and trading market.  All shoulder, badge, or mini patches are designed by PLPD staff and approved by PLPD command staff before they are produced, which helps keep them genuinely connected to the PLPD as opposed to being designed by an outside organization.

New this year, and featured the month of April, is an autism awareness patch.  Other patches embody the heart of Palmer Lake and the PLPD such as the 4th of July patch and the Halloween 2023 patch.

2024 Autism Awareness Patch - This shoulder patch is the first specialty design of the patch design that PLPD Officers are currently wearing. Officers are authorized to wear this patch from April 1st - April 30th, 2024. The center of the patch features the Autism Awareness logo, and the background of the patch displays puzzle pieces, the autism awareness symbol, with the PLPD colors.

All patches may be purchased through the PLPD Honor Guard shop at https://plpd-shop.square.site/ or can be purchased in person from the department during business hours or with the department booth at local events.

Thank you for supporting your local police department!
