Trails

Just about a mile from the town proper is the amazing Greenland Open Space. With a transitional trail from the Centennial Park parking area to the official Trailhead, this open space, located in neighboring Douglas County, is stunning. The trail is a multi-use trail, allowing horses, hikers, bikers, and runners access to some of the most beautiful vista in the Palmer Lake area. This is a photographer’s delight.

On the other side of the road, running parallel to Glen Park is Creekside Trail. This follows the creek and is a joy to walk or bike. Many folks enjoy an early morning run before work on this short but beautiful trail.
