Glen Park

Glen Park may be difficult for the first timer to find, but once in this beautiful park it’s hard to forget where it is located. This historic park (dating back to the late 1890’s) has tall pine trees, lots of wildflowers, and animal trails zigzagging throughout the park. It is not uncommon to see small herds of deer resting in the tall grass, a fox quickly and quietly ‘running an errand,’ and you might even see a black bear lumbering through, looking for berries. There is a small play area, picnic tables and a tennis court. The Glen Park trail meanders through and around the park and has great appeal for birdwatchers.
