Nutrient Pollution

Palmer Lake is located at the very top of the Monument Creek watershed.  Stormwater runoff from the town impacts downstream users of Monument and Fountain Creeks.  The control of nutrient pollution is extremely important since water that originates here eventually ends up in the Mississippi River!
