UPDATE: IREA Poles!

There have been a number of concerns expressed about the removal of old poles with the installation of new IREA poles.

Please understand that the installation of poles is the 1st step.  

The next step will comprise of utilities transferring wires to the new poles – IREA cannot remove or transfer lines due to liability.

Following the transfer or removal of other utility lines, the final step will be that IREA removes old poles.

Poles that are not owned by IREA will be flagged accordingly to address separately as needed.
