11/24/20 post: The Palmer Lake Parks Commission invites all residents and businesses to enter in this year’s Holiday Decorating Contest. This is a great way to show off your community pride and spread cheer throughout the holiday season.
How to Enter:
- Print and fill out the entry form below
- Drop entry form and entry fee ($10) in drop box in the Water Payment box outside Town office by Dec 13th (make checks payable to TOWN OF PALMER LAKE, Memo: Parks Light Contest)
- All entries must be within the town limits of Palmer Lake
- Must have entry form and payment submitted no later than Dec 14th, 2020
Judging will start at 6:00pm on Dec 17th and the winners of each category will be announced that evening! Don’t miss the magic, join the Parks (and Santa) for a car-line parade and guided tour through the town on Dec 18th at 6pm! Meet in the parking lot across the street from the Tri-Lakes Art Center. A link to the map with all the addresses participating will also be shared on the town’s website…
Categories include: Most Traditional, Best Commercial, Best Restaurant, Clark Griswold Award (most lights), Spiritual/Nativity, Best Inflatable Display, Best Overall* and Park’s Choice*
Winners of each category will receive a yard sign for bragging rights!
